Hot dogs have been an American favorite at every bar-b-q cookout ever since their introduction in the late eighteen hundreds. We at Philly HotDog Cafe set out to find the perfect frank and bring it to Philadelphia. 

    It turns out that the people at Vienna Beef are as intense about hot dogs as we are.  For over a hundred years they have used the same recipe and hickory-smoked technique as was originally found in Austria, Hungry and Germany. 

     By finding a frank without fillers, artificial colors or flavorings and by using 100% domestic beef butchered under one roof, we concluded our search.  But none of us could ever agree what the perfect dog should have on top of it.  We decided to make everything available and let you decide.
